How to Fix error code 39 in the Device Manager

In most cases a code 39 is a driver error which prevents the CD or DVD-ROM drive from being displayed. It also alerts that a communication error has occurred and the ROM drivers are either corrupt or missing. Now, a code 39 error can be caused by a number of reasons including the presence of malicious files, or registry problems.
